California House 273 Main Street

Built by the Lancaster brothers in the late 1830's, Abial Norton worked on it as a carpenter. From 1945-1980 Piper and Bert Knight owned it. Since 1980, the California House has been an apartment house, first owned by Donald Rossiter. Today in 2023, Janis Kay owns it.

Building at 538 Hope Road

Was originally a Methodist church, later becoming a Seventh Day Adventist church. In 1978 the belfry was removed and the building was used as a hay barn for several years. Today, 2023, it is an apartment building.

Herbert Heal built the original structure in the 1930's to enclose the old town pump. It was replaced in the 1980's by Scout leader Andy Hazen and his troop of Boy Scouts.

Breezemere

The 41 foot steamer, "Ray" built in 1897 in Lincolnville on the shore of Lake Megunticook and served there for excursions on the lake for about ten years.
