Julia Crehore

Julia Crehore Calvin, 1849-1879, grew up at Ducktrap at the intersection of Atlantic Highway and Ducktrap Road. The journal she kept in 1869, the year she was 20, gives a glimpse into the life of a young woman in that era and in our town. Here is the transcription of a few days in June.
